Q1. What is internal referral?

We will help you beat the auto resume screening and submit your job applications through internal portals to ensure HRs/Recruiters/Hiring Managers see your profiles. The referral providers are mostly senior employees from top companies who can either send your resumes to recruiters/HRs, or hand them directly to the hiring managers. No more automated resume screening!

(Online applications submitted through official websites are likely to be excluded by auto resume screening due to the lack of required keywords or other issues,e.g late submissions)

Company list is upon request. It includes most top IT companies, top biotech companies, hardware companies, financial institutes and big 4 in the US.

 

 

 

Q2. What if I want to apply for startups or smaller firms?

Then you do not need referrals. I will elaborate strategy details to help you win more interviews if you order “resume editing and application strategies” services.

 

 

 

Q3: Can you guarantee interviews/offers from internal referrals?

Yes, if you have following qualifications:

Reminder: If you are an international student, you should have at lease a year or longer OPT. Only Google, Amazon, Apple and Pure Storage will consider international students with OPT less than a year.

  •  Applicants graduated from tops schools (e.g CMU, Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT) with hot majors (e.g. computer science, statistics, computer engineering, software engineering, analytics, etc.)
  • Applicants have 2 year of continuous relevant industrial experience, or interned multiple relevant industrial positions (for any major)
  • Applicants were in the top-ranked teams during International Collegiate Programming Contest(ICPC) hosted by ACM, or the award winners of subject relevant national/global competitions

Exceptions:

A. Very strong referrals from upper management and close relationships with hiring managers
B. Urgent replacements of current employees
C. Fake relevant work experience

Exceptions don’t always apply to us. But don’t worry if you do not meet such qualifications, there are still solutions for your job hunting.

Q4. I met the qualifications above and had my connections to refer me already. Why do I still get very limited interviews from referrals?

There are multiple reasons. It could be one that your resumes are lack of required keywords or/and you do not meet the job requirements, then you need to work on your resume first or/and adjust your expectations. It could be the referrers are at junior level and could not have your applications get into the candidate pools (referrers’ seniority level matters in certain companies ). It could be your referrers have referred too many under-qualified candidates before and their referrals were flagged by HRs. Hence your applications might be stuck somewhere and never got the attentions of recruiters/HRs/hiring managers.

But we can help you identify the reasons and solve this problem.

 

 

 

Q5. I had my connections refer me already and got a lot of interviews. But I still want more with unicorn companies like Airbnb, or Uber. Could you help me with that?

Definitely. If you have interviews with top tech companies from referrals, you will have a higher chance to win interviews from referrals to unicorn companies because these companies are fighting for better talents. Q6. How do I proceed?

Once the service is ordered, please have your resume and cover letter ready. Search for the positions from company websites and save the links. Send us a email with “your name+job title” as the title, “job links+cover letter content” as email content, your resume (pdf format) as the attachment.
